Trusted, physician-vetted health information for millions of families — content built to the exacting medical and health-literacy standards of a national physicians’ body.
FamilyDoctor.org is the AAFP’s flagship consumer health library — one of the most trusted plain-language health resources in the United States. Every article has to be medically accurate, physician-reviewed, and written to strict health-literacy standards. Sustaining and expanding a library of that breadth and credibility requires an editorial discipline most content teams simply can’t supply.
As part of the same AAFP-aligned medical-writing body of work as AnswersMedia, IMC applied its SMART content method end to end. In Sense we internalised the AAFP style and reading-level requirements. In Shape we translated complex clinical topics into clear, plain-language articles with proper references, ready for physician sign-off. In Scale we delivered at volume through trained, vetted medical writers.
IMC contributed credible, health-literacy-standard content to one of the most trusted family-health resources in the US — reinforcing its standing as a medical-communications partner that consistently meets the bar set by a national physicians’ organisation.
