UX study and design

The World’s Largest Payer’s technology partner collaborated with IMC to carryout User Experience study and design UI for “Provider directory” directory. This tool helps in finding participating doctors, dentists, hospitals and urgent care centers in USA. IMC team carried out an assessment and determined the various components and services that comprise the portal/ application. The analysis helped us determine the needs of the various audiences of the portal and understand the goals of stakeholders. After determining the base set of components, our team worked to organize these elements into effective information architecture, navigation system and a detailed software requirement, which comprises all the functional, and non-functional activates (functionalities) required. Before, we nailed down the final look and feel for the directory, the run through multiple rounds of mockup development for each set of templates was done. After the preliminary look, or visual design, was approved, the team refined it by creating a variety of alternatives until we arrived at the site’s best visual design. We completed this work in collaboration with the client team and the organization’s head of practice.
